Our Values
Safer Space Agreement
<aside>
🔥 In order to co-create an environment for everyone to feel comfortable discussing and sharing ideas, those engaging in abusive or oppressive behavior will immediately be asked to leave our spaces. We encourage all collaborators and attendees to be aware of this agreement and to take autonomous action if they observe people engaging in abusive or oppressive behavior.

✊🏼 Our Safer Space Agreement is advised by our sex workers, trans* and disabled friends, and inspired by Hacking Hustling and Edinburgh Anarchist Feminist Bookfair.

We encourage these practices in all of our spaces.
- Please use trigger warnings to prevent people who have experienced traumatic experiences from being exposed to something that might trigger a negative physical and/or mental reaction.
- We encourage you to learn about ableism and use common sense, sensitivity, and a casual tone when speaking/chatting.
- Respect the diversity of everyone's identities for whom sharing our lived experience is not always safe.
- Let's prioritize caring for ourselves and each other - please do whatever is needed to care for yourselves during this event, including standing up, lying down, or even disengaging at any time.
