"…seize the means of production," is a phrase from Marxist theory that encourages workers to take control of the resources they need to create goods. This would create a fairer society, especially in situations where rich individuals or large corporations hold all the power. In Marxist theory and economics, "…means of production," refers to the land, labor, and capital necessary for production. Identifying who owns these resources is crucial to the understanding of Marxist theory and economics.
